Protesters in Yangon, Myanmar, condemning the military coup that ousted President Aung San Suu Kyi. Myanmar’s military ruler, Min Aung Hlaing, has recently taken on the role of prime minister and has again pledged to return to democracy, but the recent referendum has been interpreted by locals to delay the process by six months.

Since April 28, Colombians have risen up in massive protests throughout the country, initially against the tax reform that the government intended to implement by increasing taxes for the working population. After overthrowing the reform, the people continue protesting for other reasons. The government has unleashed a wave of repression that has left dozens dead and hundreds injured.
