Most Australians vote on same-sex marriage

In a strong showing, more than three quarters of eligible Australian voters have cast ballots in the nation’s debate over same-sex marriage. The nationwide survey gauges support for legal reform. The survey is run by the postal service through Nov. 7, and participation is voluntary.
