A NATO physician’s assistant demonstrates how to properly hold a baby during birthing classes in Afghanistan. The country suffers the world’s highest maternity and neonatal mortality rates, but since the Taliban takeover, the situation has worsened; the neonatal mortality rate could rise to 10% of all live births, the UN said.
