In 2011, crowds swarmed the streets of Tokyo, protesting against the creation of nuclear power plants. This week similar demonstrations took place across the city, with people protesting Japan’s decision to start releasing massive amounts of treated wastewater from the Fukushima nuclear plant into the ocean.
