Harnai port in Konkan is the main fishing village. Every evening hundreds of fishing boats come back after fishing and gather to auction their catch, bullock carts are driven into the sea to unload the fish and bring it to the beach where the action happens. Witnessing the fish auctions here is an awe-inspiring experience.
