Voters in several precincts of Des Moines, Iowa, were serenaded when they cast their ballots at Roosevelt High School on Tuesday, Election Day in the U.S. Grammy-nominated cellist Matt Haimovitz performed cello works by Bach, Glass and other composers. His performance was part of Play for the Vote, a nationwide initiative by artists to make voting a positive experience despite health fears and political tensions.
