A mother in a wheel chair and her new born wait with other mothers and babies aged 0 to 5, for the oral polio vaccine at the Begoua’s health post in Bangui’s capital, Central African Republic, in May 2008. UNICEF has been working closely with the Ministry of Health and WHO in order to organize the event, providing vaccinations and operational support to the campaign which is set to benefit 750,000 children across the country.
