Dorothea Lange chronicled poverty in the Great Depression. The “Damaged Child,” Oklahoma City, 1936 is shown in a colorized (Kelly Short) form. Though her childhood was stolen by the Great Depression, she manages a careful smile in spite of living on the verge of starvation.
