President Bush makes a statement on the war in Iraq in the Oval Office of the White House in Washington, accompanied by Gen. David Petraeus, commander of the multinational force in Iraq. Congress is expected to pass legislation this week that contains a nonbinding timetable for the withdrawal of U.S. combat troops from Iraq by spring of 2008.
