An Ashaninka girl in an Apiwtxa village in Acre State, Brazil. The World Health Organization has reported that a number of states in Brazil, where a more transmissible virus is circulating, are still in critical condition, and hospitals are overwhelmed. The number of cases reported daily in Acre has more than doubled since March 15.
