Children in Kibera, Kenya, Africa’s largest slum, in July 2013. According to the nonprofit Chr. Michelsen Institute, youth and children constitute a large proportion of Kenya’s population with those between 15 and 24 years account for 7.9 million. 2.6 million of them live in urban areas.
