Children participate in a dengue cleaning and awareness program in the Tancredo Neves municipality, Brazil, in April 2011. In June this year, Brazil’s health ministry said deaths from dengue fever had risen 163 percent from the same period last year. It also noted that heavier rains and higher temperatures have been contributing factors.
