Israelis release a dove as they celebrate the release of captured Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit at the Kerem Shalom border crossing with the Gaza Strip. Looking dazed, a thin and pale Shalit emerged from a pickup truck under the escort of his Hamas captors and Egyptian mediators.
