Emergency workers are seen on and near the Interstate 35W bridge in Minneapolis after it collapsed into the Mississippi River. The busy highway bridge that spans the Mississippi River just northeast of Minneapolis collapsed during evening rush hour, sending dozens of cars, tons of concrete and twisted metal crashing into the water.
